What the rule allows

The reference guide describes fulfilling other people’s wishes and building up from small wishes before realizing greater miracles and the user’s own wishes.

Where it stops

The ability requires accumulated fulfillment; it is not permission to grant any desire immediately. Similar wishes from the same person cannot simply be repeated in a short time.

CUESHELF INTERPRETATION

Put it under pressure

Scene test: a miracle worker racing toward a grand rescue must first understand what ordinary petitioners actually need. A wish that is easy to satisfy literally may be hard to satisfy honestly.

CUESHELF INTERPRETATION

Design the response

Avoid treating people as interchangeable charging stations. Let a petitioner’s request create an obligation that survives the reward.

AN ORIGINAL VARIATION

Your next design decision

Independent rule: a healer earns one restoration miracle by keeping five freely accepted promises; each must meet the recipient's stated need. Four are complete. Before a collapsed mine is reopened, the fifth petitioner asks her to testify that the mine's patron concealed an unsafe support. That patron is paying for the pumps needed to reach the injured and threatens to withdraw them. The petitioner wants the concealment on record to protect future workers, not merely to help the healer gain power. She can testify and seek replacement pumps, negotiate continued funding without changing the testimony, or decline this promise and find another person she can help in time.

Write the petitioner's request in their own words. What help must the healer arrange so keeping the promise does not abandon the rescue?
